What is a pulse?  I’m so glad you asked!  Pulse crops are dry edible beans and peas.  Lentils, dry peas, garbanzos (aka chick peas) and all of the dry beans.  Super nutritious, low in fat and cholesterol, high in protein… a nearly perfect food!  The term “pulse” is latin, from the word “puls” meaning porridge.

Pulses are hip – they’re the new trend in healthy eating – in fact the United Nations has declared the world over that – 2016 is The International Year of Pulses!

The big news is that JANUARY 6TH, 2016 is

W O R L D   P U L S E   F E A S T!

The challenge is for
EVERY PERSON in the world
to include PULSES into their diet
at least ONE TIME on this date.
