This is a comprehensive article discussing the problem of feeding the entire world on the amount of land which we have.  The best part of this article is that it discusses in scientific terms, the different between biotech (GMO) seed to seed which has been hybridized in the lab, and plants which have hybridized naturally, or evolved.
